she is eligible and she meets all the criteria

she just wanted to know if people who have already taken this deal have had any problems with it ie: if there are any catches one should be aware

Check you've got 2 years no claims discount - I think that's the main catch.

Other than that, expect the car to be returned in near perfect condition. Any scratch, scuff, kerbing of wheels, etc (over a certain size - they consider fair wear and tear), try and get it fixed before handing the car back.

Its £950ish due to living in a high risk area so they tell us just 1 big con if you ask me and they get away with it

Instead of pretending you're getting a new car on the cheap why not just get a cheaper older car?

Is that just a renewal off whoever did them last year, or is that the best the Meerkats etc are offering?

What are their basic details (car, rough age, rough circumstances, history)?
What's their postcode come out to on http://www.motorcarinsuranceuk.co.uk/post-code-ratings.php ?

Dacouch has said before that that list is very old and was only used by one underwriter for motorbikes only, so isn't a particularly reliable indicator.

Mileage limits? Insurance excess? What if their circumstances change in 3 months time and they need to cut back and can no longer afford it?
