I got a Plusnet Technicolor router off Gumtree for £5 as the one from Plusnet did not arrived. This was to get the new Plusnet internet connection that had already been activated working in a hurry. Phoned Plusnet to tell them that their router did not turn up. 2 eventually turned up, now got 3 in all.

Try Gumtree, Freecycle etc. These Plusnet/Technicolor ADSL routers are plug-replaceable no special activation needed apart from turn on and leave for 20 mins before trying to use.
