    I think there is a policy whereby if you buy something full price and so many days later if it is reduced the difference is refunded?!

    i didnt recieve an invite but phoned to check that tell them that my email had changed and i had forgot to tell them.she took my new email and asked me what time i would like!!

  • Does anybody know if we can buy items before they go into the sale for full price then return them with the original receipt and buy the items back again at sale price?!?!:j Would save queueing up at 3 am!

    A lady in front of me in the queue tried this last time they had a sale. She was told that they couldn't do it as everything had to be sent back to the warehouse as the directory and shops kept different records regarding their stock?! :confused:

    Also at the last sale, I had ordered a pair of cropped jeans. By the time I had received them they had reduced all their jeans to £10. I was told that I couldn't have them at the new selling price. If I wanted them for £10 then I would have to re-order them. I spoke to several different people at the call centre about this as I didn't think it was fair, but they all said the same.

    I would be wary about ordering items at full price now, there's no guarentee that Next will let you have them at the cheaper price once the sale starts.

    I was thinking more along the lines of going into the Next shop now rather than ordering online, then returning the goods with my receipt when the sale starts.

    I phoned Next this afternoon and said I had been trying to get a vip slot and couldn't - they put me on hold and when they were on the phone I tried it and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Got my slot on Thursday and have spent all afternoon making my list!

  • just rang up customer relations spoke to a really nice lady who booked me in for 2mw nite!! yay! :j

    i explained to her that the vip site was not recognising my account number and she booked it for me and then emailed me the confirmation...and the call was free because i called the local rate number (0116 2842000) not the 0844 one.

    now i'm going to dig out my copy of the directory!

    good luck every1else and please leave me a few bits for 2mw eve!!

    I did the same so they checked my account and said i hadn't been issued with one :confused:
  • hmm...she said she was checking my account and called me back. to be honest i think she was new because she had to get her colleague to do it for her...

    all depends on who picks up the phone!
