With Countrywide you're required to stay a year at least (or pay back the training costs) and your CeMap 1 is paid for. The 2 & 3 are to follow based on performance although there's nothing to stop you booking them yourself.
You go through quite an intense 5-6 weeks regarding appointment structure and compliance including internal tests, rounded off with your CeMap 1 training & exam before you're dropped in to your office to really learn what the job's about.
It can be stressful, demanding and irritating but if you can find the positives in the role and you genuinely feel satisfied by providing a service - I'm sure you'll love it.0 -

3 years in the job this month.
Its been an experience, from sitting on couches with ex druggies to having rude people with silver spoons up their !!!. Lenders who do not know their !!! from their elbow and solicitors being closed down overnight (as happened yesterday) - but then I look at the positives... no rush hour traffic, I work when I want to in the main, I pick and chose who I do business with and get free lunches (and pens) from lenders/providers and you get to help people get their homes (as cheesy as that sounds).
If I was employed with targets I do not think I could do the job.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
