Since when do the bank charge £15 a time for declining a card transaction? Oh, right. They don't.

    Something definitely isn't right here

    They don't.

And the fact that the bank thought nothing was odd about a retailer charging for progressively lower amounts until it worked?

Either way, even if you agreed to a transaction with company A, it doesn't mean they have authorisation to debit whatever they want. Just do a chargeback if/when it debits your account.

The OP is either being deliberately sparse with the truth or it's a troll.

Sorry for the slow response. It was actually a post on facebook where I found the capsules. It was a £2.99 trial for 3 months supply and then it was £6.99 after that.

I have spoken to a manger from my bank who has explained that what the man from this afternoon actually meant on the phone was they can not return my money immediately as there is always a 3 day hold when a payment is made. As soon as the money is cleared it will be pulled straight back to my account

I really was told I was being charged £15 per failed transaction because it's my own fault for making an agreement when making a purchase so I'm not sure why I was told that in the first place.

Sorry for all the confusion I was panicked in thinking I was loosing my money.

For those of you who doubted me.. I am a genuine person who had a dilemma iv no idea why someone would come here and pretend they brought cod liver tablets online and became a victim of fraud, I will assume that these things obviously happen for people to immediately think iv made this up.

    Thanks

......they told me the company tried to take £2000 then £1000 then £300 and the last attempt was £150 which I had in my bank.

Did you buy that cod liver oil from a health food shop or from a payday lender?
