They let you spoil your vote. You're only obliged to go into the polling booth. Must be something to do with the place having been set up as a prison

He does bring up some useful issues such as the MLAs munching their way through almost £1000 of mints at our expense.

Old saying, the wrong people are involved in politics because the right people won't have anything to do with it. No matter who you vote for, the Government gets in. I would love to see Stormont filled with unbiased, ethical, moral, honest and hardworking politicians, but, like bedbugs, dog dirt and pizza crumbs in the sofa I'm afraid that what we've got will stay. At present we have a few good apples trying to unspoil the barrel. It needs redding out and some fresh faces and ideas, but that probably won't happen in my time. Hopefully, for the sake of today's youth, it will happen sooner rather than later.
