It seems they weren't forced to smuggle after all, and they've named everyone involved. Oops.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
McCollum's lawyer has received confirmation from the Irish government that the transfer request has been accepted by the Peruvian authorities.

she was travelling on an Irish passport ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
So the Irish government made the request and then passed it to the UK to pay for.. Hmmm...0

Well, keeping her caged in Hyde bank will involve a subsidy from Westminster, which will circulate in the Belfast economy. So hooray, if you think that's a good thing, and I don't.
I can see why Peru wanted her off their hands. Expensive carry on.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
You see this is what really annoys me..... People who want the best of both worlds..... I want to be classed as a citizen of another country, travel on travel on that countries passport but when the sh.1t hits the fan I'm more than happy to be called British and have the British Government bail me out..... You make your choices..... you should live with the consequences...
By the way this is nothing to do with religion or politics before anyone gets on their soap box.... it is to do with us, the Tax Payer, having to foot the bill for someone who has committed a serious crime in another country..... They should have been left to do the time in Peru the little scummers !!!0 -
Apparently she will have to pay back the cost of the flight. And guaranteed, her a-hole of a solicitor will be back in court suggesting she didn't get a fair trial in Peru where the system is rife with corruption and her "Human Rights" have been violated and she should be re-tried over here with the aim of getting her out of prison early.... all on legal aid !!0 -
If that happens, cocaine smuggling would seem an attractive career option, since you make a wodge if you get away with it, and have a short sentence if you don't. Fill your boots.
Hardly the right message.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
See she's ditched Madden and moved to Winters.0
