Tesco Clubcard Changing Rumour

My OH says he heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of maybe another friend (chinese whisper syndrome alert) that Tesco are changing/altering the way clubcard works. Apparently it came from someone who works in the computer dept and its all hush hush.
Afraid thats all I've heard but has anyone else heard anything?
Don't know about you lot, but I only shop at tesco because the clubcard scheme is so good. If it gets diluted, the incentive to do all my groceries there will be somewhat, if not totally diminished.

Yes, you are only going to get points on full price items, those reduced or part of a BOGOF will no longer be eligible. No points for using the Tesco credit card in Tesco. A few other minor things.
Is this just to recover takings lost during the 12-store closedown at the weekend?:eek:CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

I wonder what Al Mac's source is, because TBH I really cannot see Tesco doing this whatsoever. The Clubcard scheme is too successful and this is going to do nothing but !!!! loyal customers off. If it is true there may also be some extra benefits lined up to make up for it.
It would hardly have much effect on your statement though, but I know full well what people are like when it comes to tesco - dead cynical and a backlash of cancelled clubcards wouldn't surprise me.0 -
Tesco won't do anything stupid with the Clubcard - the amount of data it generates for them is insane.0
