Do you think it will work OK in UK?
Just ordered this Nexus 5 32gb at a great price £265 incl VAT & Delivery

But getting a bit nervous
Do you think it will work OK in UK?
EDIT: Despite all the anxiety - The parcel arrived and they sent me (in uber quick time I might add) the D821 European version
So at £265 incl incl this must be the best price at the mo

I wouldn't have bought it.
Specification page2G/3G/4G LTE
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41
You've bought the North American specific model (the LG D820).
UK LTE bands are 3/7/20 (so absolutely no 4G compatibility)
2G/3G should be OK.What makes you think it wont work ?

Yours was £20 well spent, he has bought the US version.====0 -

As mentioned above. It will work on 2G and 3G.
A bit pointless buy as it wont work on 4G and you may as well have spent the bit extra to get the UK model with 4G support.0 -
I don't know if anyone can help.
I purchased a iPhone 4s from a boot fair on sunday, but it is locked onto orange.
Orange have said the previous owner has to unlock or I could contact apple.
The apple website says I need to purchase a £25 technical help pack before I can get anywhere.
Am I able to unlock or am I stuck with orange?
Must be missing something here, what's the connection between an iPhone and a Nexus 5?0 -

Not to mention the UK warranty (or lack thereof) issue.
If the saving is only £20, it seems like a really bad decision.====0 -
It's from Hong Kong so warranty repairs will be a pain should a problem occur and it won't do 4G in the UK.
I personally would have paid the extra for a UK spec model
