Morning All
:bdaycake: Jayward
Sorry to hear of your sad loss Lily
Molly, Hilly, Judi, LW ((((hugs)))) or Spoons
A doggy lick from Skye to Ossie. The same thing happened to a Cockerpoo next door but one when a workman left gates to the house with a Staffie, and their gate open. Neither should. Re dog owners tbh neither get enough exercise. Tiny Skye gets more.
Rash. Is fading after change if treatment, back to being an allergy again. But no one decided what it is I am reacting to. Least I am back to full nights sleep
Had a rainy day yesterday so got some knitting done. Off to Bourtkon on the water shortly. Move on to Silverstone tomorrow until Tuesday.
((Hugs)), Spoons & Positive Vibes all round. Take care everyone. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -

Afternoon all

OS has taken a bit of a back seat for a few days as I have not been well. I have been reading though.
I have managed to potter a bit today and the kitchen is tidy and clutter free. Just wish the rest of the house was too
Hope you're all having a good day

Afternoon everybody - waving....
Having another day at home.
Oh gave our front of house some TLC this morning and did the weeding around the drive. No front garden. We had it all made into a concrete drive to get x3 cars off the busy road.
I have been reading my kindle.
Gave my wardrobe a tidy and sort out. Now have a clothes pile for charity.
We all seem to have to many clothes.
I have been waring more summer dresses this year. i think more lady like.
Trousers more for when it is cold.
The wardrobe looks neat with mostly matching gray hangers.
I am going to wash my - what I call Christmas jacket because it is a red short rain mac type. Oh calls it my tomato red coat! Hm!!
This good weather is to be cherished. Lovely washing drying weather.
Sausage and mash for dinner.
Best wishesThe secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -

Strength and love to Hilly, Molly and Lilyplonk xx
Lots of rain in the night which woke DH up but I slept through. I had been flicking through the radio yesterday and listened to a bit of Classic fm. I don't actually mind classical music and don't know why I don't listen to it more. Last night I went on to YouTube and played Clair de Lune and nodded off!
Took DS1 to Watford this morning for a clothes shop. He was picking up all sorts until I said I wanted him to pay me back! Then he whittled it right down to 2 things, I won't really ask him for the money back but I don't want him getting extravagant on my pocket! LOL
He's off to a festival tomorrow called Boomtown. It looks amazing with different themed zones, not any particularly big names playing but I'm sure it will be good fun
I've still not ever been to a festival myself!
Roast chicken tonight which I will spatchcock to save cooking time. Loads of pizza left from lunch too for fussy DS2. His ear infection has cleared up but he says he's a bit deaf still in that ear so might take him back to doctors.
DS1 and DD going to cinema on 2 for 1, so expensive otherwise! I have gardening to do so will be pottering around outdoors.
Have a great day all, hugs for those in need! X0 -
I do hope so, I tell them often enough.JUDI they KNOW how much YOU love them, it screams from every word you write on here and I'm sure it's just as apparent in real life love, so it doesn't matter what your OH does or says, they KNOW they're loved by a wonderful MUM and they'll give you that love back in equal measure!!!
Came back from Moms, she is ill and was in her room. She's got a chest infection and is hallucinating. The dog comes to see her apparently. I just played it by ear.
This is the dog.
Mom is prone to infections, she had a few when I was looking after her. They usually knock her off her feet completely but ive never known her hallucinate. She's on antibiotics so I'm hoping she will feel better soon.

Just found out the funeral is Monday afternoon,dh cousin has been on the phone to let us know.
On a brighter note we have been asked to his uncles 90th(on the other side of the family) so will meet up with some rellies we haven't seen for a good while.
Lyla is at the vets being spayed,I've just rung them and she's still too groggy to come home, bless. We cant carry her thats for sure, well we could but it might take 3 of us
.She's such a wuss,a German Shepherd kept barking at her in the waiting room and she tried to climb on our knees, made people smile anyway.
Right DGS has gone now so I'm going to make the most of the dog/child free zone and have a good tidy up.Love & hugs x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Sorry I haven't been sending ((hugs)) and spoons but been a bit preoccupied.
Oz is physically on the mend but mentally he''s a basket case. He still won't go past the tree outside the house. However the whimpering has lessened and we had a couple of well known doggies on a lead say hi. He was fine with them so hopefully he will recover fully.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
