What's the point? We can't vote in it so why should we care?
I think the Coomenwealth Games should help to give the UK an idea of the importance of Scotland. Sure we all talked about it and it sounded good but in the end it was just some second second rate event compared to real deal, The Olympics which London did 100 times better just a couple of years ago.
Scotland, don't ever forget, you're better together, the rest of the UK couldn't care less what you do.0 -
Stv player crashed because of demand. You didn't miss much0

Sentiment tracker put Salmond as negative and Darling as positive throughout the whole debate.0

seriously, surely there are a large number of people both Scottish and others who don't live in Scotland, who are interested in the debate
presumably the decision about where and how to broadcast, was made by Westminster
How on earth would Westminster decide whether an ITV station would broadcast an STV programme?Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

well it's simple
clearly a muck up, with bad planning and execution
so the SNP supporters will obviously want to say Westminster caused the problem, as everything that's good is due to the Scots and everything else is due to Westminster.
didn't you know that?0 -
Why doesn't he just come out and tell his people that he'll start crapping gold bars if they vote "yes", it's as likely to happen as most of the other things he's promised.0

It's wholy stupid, they want to keep the queen and the pound, what kind of independence is that ?Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0

I see that the debate between Darling and Salmond has been censored from the RoUK.
It's not on TV here.
More worryingly is that the STV player has been hacked and isn't working for people down south.
Shame we'll never know the truth now;
we'll have to rely on the usual objective crew saying how statesmanlike Salmond was and how trite Darling was.
I'm in the south of England and watched the debate on STV on line. The first 5 minutes were a little flaky but I put this down to me registering to use the STV player at about 0758 and not being clear how it worked for a few minutes.
But after 0806 I saw everything.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
The bits and pieces that are now coming through on the web/social media/political commentary world are that it was at the very least a dead heat or that Alistair Darling instead of getting the expected slaughtering actually 'won'. Didnt see the debate myself though.0
