Just skimming, but dear all the sss's , if this swayed you in any direction because you were on a fence, those fences where you are must lean most frightfully inefficiently!

Don't worry it didn't. The poster sss555s is already on record as being a committed nationalist, and the claim that "I think it has swayed me to vote YES!" is entirely spurious.:)

The debate was pretty useless to be honest and a bit embarrassing for both sides, but that's UK politics for you.

Yes I will admit that I'm one of the ones who has already made their mind up.

My post was a bit of tongue and cheek which I'm sure most of the regulars on the subject, would have got.

Given the debate was between two Scotsman it seems a little ungenerous to relate the 'embarrassing' to UK politics.

I assume the muck up with the scope of the transmission and STVplayer was entirely a Scottish affair.

well I've just received an email from STV apologising for the 'unsatisfactory online experience' trying to watch Salmond/Darling debate.

It appears not be have been a Westminster plot or even the work of the SNP but a failure of their partner Brightcove.

Fortunately Brightcove seem to be American.

On that point I do agree with you. In terminal decline, no better than a Punch and Judy show, couldn't run a p!ss up in a brewery all spring to mind.

How anyone can make an informed decision about anything beats me.

What's worse is that the historic rifts that were buried over the past century all appear to be resurfacing around the world. GB no longer rules the world and the cracks are most certainly showing.

So if the scots got independence the people of Scotland would end up using money which would inevitably celebrate mostly English people and probably certainly no scots.

Salmand had all that time and this was his great plan. What a fricking c*ck up.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

    Have you seen Scottish money?
