Hello All!
Thanks carrie for starting us off, glad to hear that ur feeling better.
I can't eat raw bananas either- it feels like somebody punched me in the stomack, nowdays I just have to stick to non-exotic (europien) fruits.
DawnW- Chickens? They sound like lots of fun! I will have chickens too once we move to our dream country/ house!
I'm having a crapy day, not much sleep / peace since in-laws arrived yesterday. I have hidden in my local library after work yesterday- got some ficitions and craft books, really happy with it and it was free!
Todays moneysaving tasks:
:starmod:Find cheapest petrol locally- I need 50 litres:eek::eek::eek: to fill up OH's car. Today the local Tesco is the cheapest, plus I have 2p off per litre and get some points. Best option in this situation, me thinks. :think:
:starmod:Pack up losts food from home- I take everything we need for 3 days, the prices in Donegal / Ireland are hair-raising. euro 2 + for bread or milk?:eek: - no way I will pay that. So get coolbag organised for milk, cheese, bacon, sausages etc. - I know how to live, don't I :rotfl:
That's it for me, I will keep reading ur posts throughout the day, hope you all have a good Tuesday!
PS- I will keep reading while away, but don't think I will able to post with my phone. See u soon!"NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

:starmod: When we pack a cool bag we split the meat into a few different individual bags inside the cool bag. This way if one bag goes off it doesn't all go off.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Ally - hope your OH better soon
Thanks CarrieLovesFanta. Her arm has recovered nearly, it's the very necessary antibiotics that are making her feel grim.Moral of the story folks, should you be bitten by an insect and the skin around the bite gets very hot and goes hard see a doctor immediately, you have a serious problem. Don't leave it 24 hours like my OH did.

Hello all,
Today & yesterday I have:
* Changed the budget/plan for paying off debt. I have re-prioritised. No drinking, new wardrobe, new clothes and new phone means I can pay my overdraft & OH off in 6 months instead of 12
* Posted OH's letter requesting a pension transfer
* Chased up where tax rebate is & requested written details. Need to phone again in 2 weeks' time.
* Verified tax credits overpayment and set up a 12 month repayment plan with them. Simples :beer:
* Spoke to my homeless 'friend' who was screaming nonsense at me. :huh:
* Emailed back Mind charity asking for help...
* Contacted Housing Options to see about a previous landlord not providing tenancy agreement. They told me to go to the police :eek:
* Wrote an email beseeching Yorkshire Water to remove the fraudulent debt accrued in OH's name.
* Posted on a Landlord forum just in case the above beseeching does !!!!!! all good.
* Finally did small claims court request for £460 against old landlord !!
* Posted pictures of piggie cage to piggie forum.
* Transferred photos from tablet to computer
* Used up leftovers in a wrap for lunch, yum.
* Began de-cluttering our room
* Laundry including piggie fleeces
* Cooked piri piri salmon, pan seared broccoli and home made potato salad for tea YUM
Still left to do for today/tomorrow -
* Phone & switch appointments
* Change first direct standing order to savings account to the minimum £25 for this month
* Phone Orange and get wrong internet charges refunded
* Ring Student Loans Company and extend only paying off £10/month for another 6 months
* Go to the doctor's
* Change piggie cage fleeces
* Organise photos on computer
* Contact old employer myself to request P45.
* Sew my dress up!
* Put the carpet in cellar/loft/freecycle
* Check my account to see if my mum's transfer went in
* Get Vinted refunds0 -
Hi everyone
,
I will get the hang of posting earlier!
*Day 4 being Diet Coke free (and still no effects).
*Did a small shop for just essentials, bread, milk, margarine, using some Tesco
Price comp receipts I have had in my purse.
*Made a tea out of store cupboard/freezer for less than a £1.00 for 5.
*Took kids to Library with activities this morning and visited my Dad this afternoon and he has a huge garden the kids can play in.
*Started to catalogue debts.
*Decided to continue on a home learning course I started 12 months ago but defered when my Mum became seriously I'll. My Dad offered to pay for re enrolling my membership in the Professional Body and my exam fees.
*Stopped my self for considering getting a budgeting loan for my kids uniforms, I am confident I can do it, will be ultra careful, going to see if the High School has a recycling scheme for uniforms. Also been strong and given my ex a list of half for him to get.
That's it for now.Aug 2015 Loan 2568, Overdraft 2850, Social Fund 440, C/C 500 :eek:

Hello everyone!
Well had to buy fuel and chocolate (go hand in hand...) so not a NSD. But had breakfast lunch and dinner at home, this has been a huge change from my last job where I bought food from naughty places two three times a week! Yummy but not good for the purse or waist!
Little boy (my doggy) has been in the vets today, and is back in tomorrow so this will be costly but so so worth it. Got our bills and savings which are looking healthy in the lead up to selling and buying. All I want is him better!
Hump day tomorrow!
