Aldi Chester Le Street P/Eye

Options
Hi,

As the Registered Keeper...

I would just like to say thank you to all those who have helped others to fight against s*** company's the like's of Parking Eye.
I've read multiple threads over the last five or six days, Learning from all the excellent information and advice contained within, posted IMO by good honest decent people explaining the in's and outs of how to take on and deal with extortionist company's.

IMO: these company's are nothing more than a group of scam artists... S*** who have banded together in an effort to legitimise bully boy tactics, utilising mealy mouthed words to swindle and screw money from honest genuine people via threats and sign-age in their effort to legitimise and legalise their illegitimate actions.

They have earned and will earn nothing from me, save my Contempt and loathing.

I have contacted PE via their online appeal form, sending the shortened template, nothing more: Now I will sit back and wait for their long winded response with the all important Popla code.

I would just like to say, I had words with the aldi store manager today, informing her just under £90.00 was spent during the "event" on this particular visit... (Returning through the checkouts two times loading the car thrice... as a repercussion combination of my wife's wheelchair and the wheelchair attachable trolleys which hold a lot less than the normal trolleys. Just circumstance, I know) and have shopped at Aldis since it opened in Chester le street (around seven or eight years ago) she conveyed the message to me that she can do nothing at all and I must deal with parking Eye. (After I asked if she was prepared to do anything about it)

I also questioned the sign changes, she said she did not know what I was talking about, By her body language, she obviously did know there was a big yellow parking sign there last week. I therefore informed her were Aldi could sick their produce in future... and left with a happy little skip and a smile. I am not interested in appealing to any turd who does not or can not give a monkeys about their actions.

Has anyone any knowledge of the previous sign-age at Chester le street being challenged and proven faulty?

One facet of note: Since the "Event" The big yellow sign Approx 6ft h by 4 ft width 10 feet tall that was set back approx 10 meters from the entrance has been completely removed, taken down. and little blue and white ones approx one and a half foot height & width stating 1.5 hours have been erected. I have never noticed these little blue ones before they all look like they have been put up in the last few days... though I could not swear to that, as I have just never noticed them in the past.

I can find no relevant planning permission for Any parking sign-age for this site within Durham county's online planning public information. I will be paying a visit to the planing office to speak about this asap.

For the avoidance of doubt or confusion... The sign-age was changed after the event. No BB was displayed as this "Event occurred 5 days after my underwent major surgery. she wanted to get out and loves shopping at Aldi :rotfl:

The store manager can and should get this cancelled. If it were me I would complain again, higher up the Aldi food chain if necessary, long and loud that Aldi are the princicple in this and are therefore jointly liable.

The Daily Mail published an article posing this same question about Lidl only last week. Give them an email too with your story parking@dailymail.co.uk. This is a real example of the sort of incident that regularly occurs in shops like Aldi and Lidl.

Oh and I would say the manager is being economical with the truth. Go in again and complain loudly in store I front of as many customers as possible.

Thanks for your reply... Both you I and any reasonable person realise what the Managers response should have been, morally.

The manager was given the opportunity to respond in a reasonable way to a reasonable question after she was given the facts in a reasonable tone and demeanour by a reasonable man. and refused point blank to help. stating "I can not do anything about it".

An Aldi customer service advisor on Aldis customer help line also refused point blank to respond with any reasonable assistance in squashing the matter... given the exact same opportunity to do so (Last Saturday) Phoning Aldi customer service was the first thing I did on receiving their bedfellows speculative letter (PCN) shoved through my letter box on Saturday... I have immersed myself online mainly on the boards on this site researching my options since.

Aldi's and Parking Eye will regret their actions if I can help it.

Whether hell freezes or not: I will not Beg theses despicable people or any other morally bankrupt deviant to request they stop assaulting me... Though I will defend what is mine and my rights (regardless of the law) to my last breath, against any for profit !!!!! who I deem disrespects me or mine in their selfish pursuit of riches.

Thanks for that link Dee, I will use it shortly. If they are interested I will give them the whole nine yards... though because of my partners disposition. Will not allow personal details to be published.

As long as you showed PE your receipt with the appeal, they'll cancel anyway because you met the (secret) minimum spend. If you didn't in clude the receipt in your appeal, then add it online in the appeals page and tell them to add this to your challenge and cancel the stupid fake PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thank you C-m
I doubt PE would cancel if I added no way will I supply anyone I consider to be crooks with my bank details.

Receipts were binned, though I have bank statement proof of purchase which I was wiling to allow Aldi's manager to verify by sight... though she took no active interest or ownership in using her own initiative or on her employers behalf, nor in anything this customer had to say to her.

This tells me Aldi are not interested in my custom, or protecting their customers. only in preserving their lucrative relationship/contract with PE at my and other customers expense.

I have no intention whatsoever in providing anything to PE... least of all gifting them with personal and private information containing bank details and transactions. My purchase and custom was with Aldi... details of which are covered by the Data protection act for good reason.

I have no contract with Aldi's third party business associates...

Who on earth keeps grocery receipts, It's a shame I did not receive the pcn two days earlier, I could have fished the receipts from the bin. something to be said for windscreen notifications there.

I will continue to poke and prod Aldi concerning my proof of purchase, perhaps at area or regional level if I can find contact details...

Parking Eye are going nowhere. I will get back to them. lol

You can redact all details from your bank statement, so eg blank out all bank details, dates and total sum purchases for all but the Aldi one. That is the only thing they need sight of. It has a unique Aldi reference so they can ascertain it is genuine. They do. To need to see anything else, other than you name at the top.

Alternatively, I am assuming (don't know for certain) you could just send them the unique reference as evidence. Or give reference to Aldi and demand a copy of receipt. This is perfectly possible to do now all these things are electronically generated and stored.

    Champion, Thank you for that.

This being the case. I will call back to see my local store manager and request this of her. if she "can not do anything" again. I will request contact details of her superior. I will of course insist they do not pass any financial detail whatsoever to the company they not I am contracted with. or any other third party.

if necessary go all the way up to the CEO, also informing this local manager their name will feature in this complaint to head office !

redact the personal info and add it as proof to PE, telling them the unredacted original will be produced for the judge (in court) if or when they produce (in court) an unredacted copy of their contract with aldi , or that you are willing to use the local store amnager as mediator and are willing to "show" this store manager the bank statement as proof of purchase (but not allow an unredacted copy to be taken - only the redacted one) - so the store manager acts as mediator

the more fuss you make, the less they will push it, but the trick here is make life hell for aldi until the pcn is cancelled by aldi and by PE as well (in writing)

nobody is asking you to reveal all your details, just enough to make them back off
