Anyone got any contact details for someone senior in ASDA who takes complaints seriously?

I had a home delivery order last week and the driver drove over my daughters bike and mullered it. I've rung customer services to try to get them to replace it, they passed me onto the store the delivery came from who now have passed me over to a third party legal firm who deal with their claims. Every time I ring it is someone else's problem and i'm fed up with it.

So have you contacted the legal firm who deal with their claims...?

This is the Praise, Vent and Warnings part of the forum. Asda annoyed the OP, they are venting that annoyance in the approriate place within the forum. I don't see why you have an issue with that? Would you complain that some has posted about buying a car in the motoring section?

As for "Another entitled poster". If someone offers you a deal which you want to accept, take the time to go to the store to get that deal but they then change the implies terms at the checkout, then you are entitled to moan about it.

He is another entitled poster though.

Yep, though they wont process it as it didn't involve hitting another motor vehicle, they have then passed me onto an insurance company. ASDA just need to step up and replace the bike, how they fund it is their problem.

When did they let you out, or are you still inside?

As I suspected it took a formal letter to the store manager and now everything is sorted. Reimbursed for the bike and £20 compo so credit where it is due to Asda.

Glad to hear you got the outcome you wanted. And received, in the end, a good bit of customer service
