Well what do you know, I wasn't expecting anything and completely forgot about this.


I got a letter today for a loan I took out in March 2009.


£290 and a few pence to be refunded on Monday.

Well I take yesterday's comments back - 2 letters received today and to be paid by close of business Monday!

Sounds promising that letters are starting to get sent out, hopefully there be a one waiting for me when I get back home.

Do people mind explaining the logic or breakdown used with the amount paid back?

Think my loan was about 3k so not expecting a great deal back.

No idea, my letter just says "we have taken the decision to refund all the interest you were charged from the date of your first incorrect loan statement..."

But it doesn't say which statement/date.

People who got them just curious to the date of the letter to see if they were all issued on the same day as suggested?

Got my refund today. Letter dated 28th Sept.

Good to hear so many of you are getting refunds. Are these existing open loans or closed loans? Trying to gauge if I might hear something soon
