Phone contract - has the credit check been cancelled?? Confused!

After a lot of thought I decided to get an iPhone on contract.

I applied for the credit check last night through tesco phone shop and received an email today asking for additional ID such as passport/driving licence and proof of address. As I don't have a passport or driving licence I told them this but also sent a copy of proof of address. They emailed me back saying that if a copy of a driving licence or passport is not available, my order can not be processed. I emailed back saying that I am not able to provide this info and asking if this means my order has been cancelled and haven't heard anything back. Any ideas? X

If you don't produce proof of ID it is likely they will refuse your application.

I presume you also aren't on the electoral roll?

Have you considered taking what proofs you have (you must have a birth certificate) and going into a Tesco Phone shop and asking them?
