  • You must have loads of money going spare. Maybe I should pop to your house and slap a ticket on your car then you can send me some.

UKPC are soooooo easy to beat - even on this exact scenario.

Said that i looked at the picture of my parking its pretty embarrassing. and shocking it was a lazy decision to park there.

Perhaps I can interest you in some double glazing, solar panels, rare earth metasl, heat pumps, agricultural land, or fine wines. I guarantee that you will double your investment in three weeks.

For the sake of the worry and hassle i logged onto the site and paid the charge.

Picture of my car parked the car pretty badly no excuse i paid it, lesson learnt from it. Paid

May I say that you made the correct choice - for you. Anyone who posts a new thread here, has taken the trouble to read lots of threads , receives good initial advice and then is so worried and hassled some 4 hours later that they felt they had to pay, despite having another 13 days to mull it over is probably not sufficiently robust enough.

Guys its nothing to do about Money, or who im paying at the end of the day, im not made of money but if it was a parking from a council i would be annoyed too. I would of paid it as it was my mistake. What could of i appealed realistically against. I parked in a disabled bay and not even straight as i was in a rush. I parked like when your looking at other people park when there greedy i dont normally park like that and it was a messy parking job.

    Yes there all complete idiots.

Ok i could of challenged it we have all had tickets from councils and fines/charges to pay. For the sake of the worry i paid it. Yes i read the newbie thing but for the sake of the hassle letters and messing about to be sure and i dont get bothered with crap from them, i have taken the hit.

I would of ignored it but it was playing on my mind, look i did park in a disabled bay which was my mistake and know one elses and been lazy. OK i dont agree with the charge. So someone explain the step by step process what happens then from now on.

From me receiving the ticket to the end?

Right, polish your specs and read and learn (should there be a next time - but don't park in disabled parking spots if you're not entitled to).

    1. Initial appeal to PPC (template already written for you)
    2. Rejection from PPC with POPLA code
    3. Appeal to POPLA (templates a-plenty, just need minor tweaking)
    4. POPLA uphold appeal, PCN cancelled
    5. You get on with the rest of your life.

    An alternative two point strategy:

    1. Contact the following website http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk and pay them £16
    2. You get on with the rest of your life

That's it from me now, over and out!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
