Hey Guys, so ive read the newbies section on this, most people are telling me dont pay, and ignore all letters if i recieve any. As these people rely on people getting back to them.

I got a penalty charge yesterday for parking in a bay not knowing it was disabled as the yellow lines were not on one of the sides. As it looked liked a normal space next to a disabled bay i was gone about 10 mins came back and got the ticket from UKPC. Wanting £40 to then go up to £70 must of parked in this car parks thousands of times and never seen or heard anyone get tickets. It was a busy Saturday morning/afternoon in Middlebrook hardly any spaces and a lot of traffic in the car park.

I have photos, of the signage and spaces. When i came to remove the car from the space i could see a painted wheelchair sign on the floor but as one side was only marked with paint with a criss cross wasnt aware of this was a space until left. I thought it was a normal space. Thats my argument.

There is one sign saying about disabled bays, but this not elevated above vehicles just at the top end of the car park where the stores are located.
As it was elevated it was unclear to see and hidden behind parked cars.

My understand is from this, that i dont appeal to them online or pay the fine before 14 days is that right and wait for a NTK, from them?

People keep telling me i can ignore and they wont take me to court or they send out debt collector letters, and the rules have changed so what is it.

Any help and knowledge about this disgusting company would help if someone can in basic terms tell me a simple step by step in how to resolve this.

I have photos but cant upload.

Do i ignore, appeal, wait for an NTK then proceed after that, use the template letter?

This was in a public car park on retail estate with not enough signage, not enough areas marked.

Many thanks and appreciated.

Thanks
Kind Regards,
Arron

Really? Read the Newbies section again cos it sure don't advise that.

Yes. But it's NOT a fine!

Ignore the people who are telling you to ignore it. Whilst UKPC are NOT known for court cases, not were ParkingEye two years ago and now they've issued court papers to over 10,000 ignorers in just over a year. What's to stop UKPC doing the same to you next year if you ignore this now?
if someone can in basic terms tell me a simple step by step in how to resolve this.
That's exactly what the Newbies thread tells you - there's no point us going over all this again!

This is how Newbies normally get results once they've read the Newbies thread:

Not sure why you are making this seem difficult when I've written a template appeal for you and the Newbies thread clearly tells people NOT to ignore unless in Scotland/NI?

    Oh well your choice.

If I send you an invoice will you pay that too?

I hope the lesson you learned is that you do not have to pay these scum?

If not, you have learned nothing I am afraid.

Oh dear, and you could have so easily beaten this. Just copy and paste 2 templates, with minor adjustment to cover your parking event in the second one and job done. UKPC are just easily seen off.

Maybe .... but it might have been better fighting this and winning it, then sending 40 notes to a charity connected to disability than swell the coffers of this lot.

If you had any doubts as to what your money will be put to, have a look at the mansions, Audis, Mercs, Aston Martins and the smug look on the face of one who's just trousered £17 million from selling his PPC shares.

Now that's what I'd call pretty embarrassing and shocking

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2713646/We-curb-parking-cowboys-says-Cabinet-Minister-Victory-Mail-campaign-official-probe-launched-bully-boys.html

And here's a quote from the article particularly apposite to you. This is who you've sent your money to.
......... Beaconsfield, Bucks, Rupert Williams, 46, and his wife Amanda, 43, also live in a sumptuous home, and they, too, have an Aston Martin (a classic silver DBS) and a top-of-the-range 4x4.

The Williamses run UK Parking Control Ltd, where the unscrupulous practices of some staff were exposed by a former supervisor this week. He says he was even told to instruct wardens to loiter around a hospital’s cancer unit because its patients were likely to have their minds on something other than feeding the car park ticket machine.

It was a lazy decision to pay up too!
You can now be comforted that all you have done is helped to pay for the owner of UKPC's villa in spain, or his huge house in Beaconsfield! Oh and wasted peoples time on here, but never mind!

Yawn - some people who post such utter rubbish, work for a PPC and others have more money than sense. Wonder which you were? Who even cares?

True, but irrelevant to the charge.
