Went back to reading my book outside....was happily reading away and suddenly found myself a bit confused. I read the previous couple of pages again....and still didn't make sense...when I had another look, it turns out 2 pages were missing!
It was a secondhand book but never had that before. Guess it was better than being the last pages though....
Have turned on my work phone purely to charge it up ready for tomorrow but have resisted temptation to look at emails. Whatever there is can wait till tomorrow. Otherwise trying to ignore all thoughts of work for the rest of the evening
Been a lovely day here weather-wise and hoping it continues0 -
So pleased to hear that you've had a lovely relaxing time BW.
Lol at your missing ages in your book - I hope you managed to figure out what was going on.

Good evening....it's been a warm one today!
First day back was OK I suppose....trying not to let the minor stuff bother me
Little to report on the money front today....

Yeah...it was lucky that it was only a couple of pages....so I managed0 -
Morning...just heard on the radio that today is supposed to be even hotter!
Keep cool everyone :cool:0 -
We have a lovely start to the morning, did not see much sun yesterday or day before that, or day before that, for ages. Said it will be hitting the high 20's early 30's - then storms tonight. So 1 day summer for us.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190

Hiya AFK - sorry to hear you are not getting much of the sunny weather. Whereabouts in the country are you? Makes me think North from what you have said....
Been a sweltering 32 degrees here today...I've been very glad to work in an air conditioned building...0 -
Well that's a very warm week at work over and done with! Pleased to be home tonight and in slightly more bearable temperatures
Work has been even busier than I expected after my break. Not helped by the fact a colleague has gone off sick for a few weeks
In better news, I've received a free book to review and I've got a £50 mystery shop lined up for a couple of weeks time.
Not too much to report on the OP front though. Hanging in by the skin of my teeth at moment to get to payday on Tuesday... been an expensive month!!0 -
Good Morning
I'm really enjoying having a lazy morning at home instead of dashing off to work - simple pleasures
Postie has been and I've managed to get past the re-training on the RM survey (last time I got rested straight after the training which was most frustrating). Pleased as my stamp supply from the last stint was running low. Not sure what to do with my presentation stamps this time round as before I used to give them to my grandad who collected them. Sadly he's no longer with us and I don't know anyone else who does collect them
Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day - are we allowed to call it summer yet?
BW x0 -
I think this might be as close to summer as we're going to get. Scotland a funny mix of burning hot sunshine one day and then buckets of rain the next. So yes, it's still Scotland!
Glad you had a good break BW, well done on all the little OPs and extra payments you've been finding over the last few months, it all adds up :j0 -
Hiya Mr E - thanks for stopping by
My OP's have definitely slowed - partly due to me being a bit spendy of late (oops) but partly as I'm still settling down after new mortgage/budget etc. You are right, the littles bits do all add up and it's easy to forget that sometimes
