And you keep staring at it but the balance STILL doesn't drop
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks MG, Gally & Cath - nice to know it's not just me!! :rotfl:
Still no money news...just counting the days until payday. Although I am looking forward to it more than usual as work have decided that I get a bonus this year :T Now I just need to decide how to split it up
Nothing much planned for the weekend - just pottering at home. Is it wrong that I love that so much
Have a super Saturday

I love just pottering, so lovely not having plans so not feeling pressured or rushed.
Great news about the bonus too.Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0 -
I always look forward to the payday money shuffle. Silly as it doesn't change my life in any way! Just nice to think of the time I can buy with the money I have. I cannot believe how old I am and how quickly my life is rushing past. We just can't put anything off if we really want to do it.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Mad day at work today - glad to be home and chilling

£3 OP made from a survey payment
I have seen my payslip online and I'm getting a bit more than I expected when trying to work out bonus after tax levels, etc so even more impatient than I was for payday...roll on Thursday :cool:0 -
That's fabulous news that your bonus is more than you were expecting - is it all earmarked yet or are you enjoying thinking about the options?0

Hi Pushkin - still pondering the options...but that's half the fun

Payday!! :j
:dance:to borrow Gallygirl's phrase  doing the money shuffle
I have decided to OP £302.65 from my bonus. It was going to be £250 but I had £52.65 more than I expected so figured I may as well use it as an OP
The rest has gone into ISA/normal savings/DIY fund
Account looked good for all of 5 minutes :rotfl:0
