Returning Tv To Argos after 4 months

Did you read the link I posted earlier?
Here's another extract from it:
The W6 was previously the fastest, but that was overtaken by the W7.
Sending back a set that has a better lag statistic is just plain silly.
You seem to have shot yourself in the foot.
Now you have your refund you can put it towards a W7 if you like.
Hi wealdrome , I didn't know you had posted that and now well I'm , well lost for words now actually lol . I'm glad I seen that though because I was going to buy the w6 but I think now I'm going to have to buy the w7 :wall: but I am not going to the same Argos as I'd feel like an utter **** . It's because I seen that the w6 had the lowest input lag even over the w8 and w9 models so I thought well the w7 wouldn't be better either , guess I should of checked online before I took it back , but I was just very annoyed at the time and didn't even think to check , oh well off to buy another w7 then lol . Thanks for posting this anyway

Good on you for coming back on here and admitting that you made a mistake.
Even though there was no need to return the old TV, it could possibly work out for the best.
If there was a problem in the future and you had to get it repaired under warranty, there may well have been problems if the TV that you sent away for repair was a different model to that shown on your receipt.0 -
Most TVs drop in price after a while anyway so I suspect you can get a W7 for the same price you paid for a W6 (even though you got a W7) four months ago. Alternatively buy a W6 and try not to be too disappointed that it does not perform quite as well as the W7 you took back

Just suck it up otherwise Argos have to faff around with a second hand TV, seems pointless causing more issues than neededHi wealdrome , I didn't know you had posted that and now well I'm , well lost for words now actually lol . I know the tv was a better spec, however I went in buying the w6 for a specific reason and that was the input lag, and that was the sole reason I choose the w6 nothing else , now if I had just bought it for other reasons then naturally I wouldn't complain as I got a better telly than what I paid for , but to me this didn't matter as like I have said the only reason I choose the w6 out of any other tv is the input lag as it's only being used for games and no tv whatsoever. And in reply to Nick_C this isn't my fault that Argos messed up so if prices are going up like you say because of this then tell the people that work there as this is there mess up not mine , I went in knowing exactly what tv I wanted and that's exactly what I thought I was buying when I went to the till , but they are the ones who gave me a different one to which I orderd.
Why buy a TV & not a monitor if your not watching TV?0 -
Why buy a TV & not a monitor if your not watching TV?
Have you ever tried to find a 42" monitor that isnt just a tv being called a "monitor" ?
In fact have you ever tried to find a 42" monitor from a high street retailer?
Regardless, there are a few reasons someone may buy a tv rather than specifically buying a monitor. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
