The food is actually really good (and expensive for them to purchase as a result) - 100% beef, 100% chicken breast and the fries are made by McCain.
Sauces are made by either Heinz or McCormick, and hygiene procedures are rigorous.
It's by no means The Ritz, but it's good food at a good price.
I worked there, cooked the food, saw where it came from and still eat it now.
As for the cheese thing, it's no inconvenience to them - most of the time they'll cook up another batch at the same time.
As for it being an inconvenience to you, if saying 'no cheese' is difficult, you're going to struggle in day to day life
Haha you are right, not really an inconvenience unless they are busy, then you sometimes have to wait a long time. The food isn't necessarily poor quality like you say, but there are a lot of preservatives in their breads, and massively high sugar, salt and fat content in pretty much everything they serve. I also believe they use hydrogenated fats for their cooking oil which has widely believed links to cancer.0 -

I second this sentiment. I used to work for them in my teens as well, and this post is fair. They have they faults in their nutrition of course, but some of the things people say about McDonalds is laughable.
They were a decent employer, too.0 -

That's not really a problem when it's consumed as an occasional treat, the problems start when it becomes more frequent and a larger part of your diet.0 -

I knew someone who worked for them in 1999 but they had already been there about 6 years(they were 24) they got more and more of those stars and given more responsibility but the same wage, that isnt a sign of a decent emplpyer.
And the term McJobs is hilarious if outdated, I knew snooty people at uni who talked about them because they had mummy and daddy pay for everything(but claimed they were working class)0 -
I often put grated cheese over bacon, egg or sausage, it adds to the flavour. Not much different to an omelette.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Probably because they know more about the fast food industry than you.0 -
It always gives me a warm feeling inside to know I have helped ease somebody's personal insecurities by giving them an opportunity to provide a sarcastic comment, which in turn makes them feel better about themselves as they attempt to belittle somebody they do not know from behind the comfort of their keyboard and monitor.
I am very glad to be of service to you sir and I hope I can provide many more comments for you in future so that you can slowly release the insecurities you have about yourself which you obtained whilst you were growing up as a child.
Have a nice day.0 -
I only answered your question! I'm sorry it had a blatantly obvious answer.0

You didn't answer the question though did you, the question was why do McDonalds put cheese on EVERTYTHING. An answer would constitute something along the lines of it adds calcium to the nutritional value or it blends the flavours well with the meats.
Telling me that McDonalds know more about the fast food industry than I do does not answer the original question as it is not a reason to have cheese on everything. It was just your attempt to try and belittle somebody, as you obviously get kicks out of it. Well carry on, I hope you feel better for it.0 -

LOL!
I've now looked at four threads on this forum today and on three of them Moneysavingking has been trying to make himself look big and clever by being condescending to other users. He probably thinks he looks very impressive when all he really does is look sad.0
