McDonalds Breakfast and Cheese

Options
Is it just me that finds putting cheese on sausage, bacon and eggs is horrid. I would not mind if there was a tradition in the UK of having cheese with your eggs in Britain, but I am not sure it ever has been. So why do McDonalds insist on putting plastic cheese on EVERYTHING. It just means that on the rare occasion I have a breakfast there that I ask them to make one without cheese and causes inconvenience for both their kitchen and me. I am pretty certain I am not the only one that does that.

    First KFC, now McDonalds.

If I was you I would give up my junk food habit as they don't appear to cater for your needs. ;)

No restaurant is immune from my criticism :D

Just wondered really if others agree, I am not sure there will be any policy change any time soon from either restaurant.

Just one of life little wonders, now my mind is clear of worry from debt, I get to worry about insignificant things like these :j

I love their sausage, egg and cheese bagels. It would be to dry without the cheese.

Just ask for it without cheese. I'm sure they can cope with your request.

Veggie and don't do McDonalds, but my dad used to do a massive cooked brekkie for us on Sundays, which included massive blobs of melted cheese. That was common where he was from (Midlands). I often put grated cheese on scrambled eggs, and a cheese (and ham) omelette is a classic dish!

That is what I do as stated in the original post :)

Just thought there might be a market for breakfast sandwiches without plastic cheese :p

I haven't been in one for years but always ordered them without cheese (didn't mind the wait as it meant they were always freshly cooked).

I'm sure there must be something here about false advertising when a junk food cafe call themselves a restaurant.

But it's not really a junk food cafe. I used to work there, and before anyone bleats on about me working for them etc I don't anymore.
The food is actually really good (and expensive for them to purchase as a result) - 100% beef, 100% chicken breast and the fries are made by McCain.
Sauces are made by either Heinz or McCormick, and hygiene procedures are rigorous.
It's by no means The Ritz, but it's good food at a good price.

I worked there, cooked the food, saw where it came from and still eat it now.

As for the cheese thing, it's no inconvenience to them - most of the time they'll cook up another batch at the same time.
As for it being an inconvenience to you, if saying 'no cheese' is difficult, you're going to struggle in day to day life :p
