I am sure that the cakes will be fab!! Even if they turn out less than purfect, splodge plenty of jam on them or serve them re-heated with custard as a lovely pudding and they will still be enjoyed!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Time for a update,
I had a really busy week so her goes,
Lewis had a fantastic birthday and really enjoyed himself he loved all of his presents and he was amazed by all of the ballons that we put up round shells the night before.
Ive started a savings tin its quite a big tin and the aim for the tin is for me to be able to buy some bits and pieces eventualy for when i get a place on my own. ( at the moment it has about £6.00 in it!!) as its a tin the only way in to it is to use a tin opener so i wont do that till its full to the top.
Another dialemma is my car has so many problems that need to be fixed, and mum is looking at buying a new car and that leaves her with the problem of what to do with her old car.
Its a y reg fiat brava in excellent condition and it has only done 35000 miles from new and she is the only owner.
It has been serviced every year and it comes with loads of extras and the road tax is only £120 for the year.
Its only worth £1500 ish and they have said that i can pay for it in installments which i can afford.
I really need a reliable car now i have to pick Lewis up and take him out as the buses are crap round here.
What would you guys do?
Take care

Obviously you take a risk with any second hand car, but if it is from someone you know and it has been well looked after, well the risk is minimised somewhat.
And the instalment option sounds good too!
I bought my mums car from her - only 3 years old, regularly serviced etc, and in the first week after I had it, the exhaust fell off!!! So, nothing is completely risk free! Mind you, we have now had that car almost 3 years ourselves and the outlay has been low in that time, so all well and good!
Glad that Lewis enjoyed his birthday and good luck with the savings tin!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

See the good thing is it has been looked after with no expence spared so to speak and it had its last service in march and a new complete exhaust in may.
Also its only a 1.2 but when ive driven it it goes like poo of a shovel.
