Vodafone has a New offer which on the surface seems but Looking further, It seems Only good for Existing Customers or if You only Use your PAYG phone in the evening.
In life, some things are worth more than a quick phone call. You want to chat with friends and catch up with your family without running up big bills. With Vodafone Stop The Clock, you can talk for up to an hour per call at evenings and weekends, and only pay for the first three minutes. Now that's what we call time well spent.
There isn't one. You can call all standard UK landlines and mobile networks, so no matter what network your friends and family use you don't have to worry about the cost.
Whether you're on one of our pay monthly, pay as you talk, or 3G price plans, you benefit from Vodafone Stop The Clock right through the weekend. Plus on weekdays between 7pm and 8am if you pay monthly, or between 7.30pm and 7.30am if you pay as you talk.
If you talk for more than an hour, you'll just pay for the first three minutes plus any extra time. This will be taken from your monthly inclusive minutes if you pay monthly, or if you're on pay as you talk, you'll need at least three minutes of credit.
Once your hour is up you'll go back to your inclusive minutes or standard rate charges. So you can make as many calls as you like, chat for up to 60 minutes and only be charged for the first three minutes of each call.
Vodafone Stop The Clock is available to new and existing customers, if you pay monthly or pay as you talk.
Pay as you talk customers
Simply switch to our smartplus pay as you talk price plan and add Vodafone Stop The Clock by calling 08080 125 126.

existing customers can have it put onto their phone as long as it is an anytime tariff. If you have an off peak tariff like mine, they will try and make you upgrade.0

and then there's this bit:-You can sign up to any plan with a 12-month contract, but you won't be able to get Vodafone Stop The Clock. To benefit from Vodafone Stop The Clock, simply buy one of our new pay as you talk mobile phones, or sign up with one of our new pay monthly 18 month plans.0 -

my contracts is only 12 months & i was put on Stop the Clock0 -
Hmm interesting. I'm thinking about getting this with the Anytime 75 tariff. Can I just confirm that the Stop the Clock is only during evening and weekends, but the inclusive minutes on an Anytime tariff is for anytime of the day (hence its name). I can't seem to find this on their website.0
