KFC Kream Ball White Choc & Raspberry Cheesecake

Options
Advertised like it is Cheesecake, it is not cheesecake at all. The posters in the restaurants even depict the ice cream as a yellow colour like you would expect in cheesecake even though what they actually serve you is brilliant white coloured ice cream.

I'd say completely false advertising.

This American beauty knocks it out of the park with biscuit pieces, creamy cheesecake bites and white chocolate chunks, all covered in a rich raspberry sauce. You’ll love every spoonful

TBH I'd be expecting typical KFC/McD's Ice Cream which is usually white and it does say cheesecake bites. It doesn't imply it's an actual cheesecake in the description.

I've never had cheesecake with ice cream in it...

It might be my eyes, but it looks white to me. The same colour as the chocolate chunk in front which says it is 'white' in the description.

Does it really matter what it looks like though? Since when does ANY picture of food, from fast food places to supermarkets, ever really represent what the end product you consume looks like?!?
  • It's food. If you don't want it, don't buy it.

    Not hard.

It's so tempting me to call in KFC later for one of these have to admit :D
  • In other news, Burger King admit their 'king of the day' promotion does not feature an actual member of the royal family that one can purchase.

    Truly scandalous.

I think all problems on this board could be described as First World.

Did you eat it, or send it back?

Surely the picture is quite clear. You get a little plastic pot with a "deconstructed" bit of cheesecake. If you got ice-cream you should have sent it back as they brought you the wrong dessert. Nothing to do with false advertising - or am I missing something?

    Yep, you are missing something.

You get ice cream, cheesecake bits, chocolate bits and biscuit bits.

False advertising then. No mention of ice-cream anywhere. I would expect the stuff with the raspberry sauce on to be mascarpone cheese.
