May I just add that my Father treated my son and I to one of these (my son had a toffee one) yesterday and they were absolutely gorgeous!

It certainly looks like deliberately misleading advertising to me. Complain to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Well, someone has to put a bit of effort into countering the idiot tendency.

Just take this piece of mind numbing idiocy: "The stuff costs about £2.50 from a place that sells fried chicken"

What makes you think you can't get cheesecake for £2.50?

What make you think that selling fried chicken precludes selling cheesecake?

Why can't you understand that the main problem is advertising something as 'cheesecake' when it isn't?

Nice. So because I make an observation I'm now branded an idiot. An observation about something so pointlessly trivial, it's wasting megabytes of an internet forum.

Grow up, stop acting like an arrogant child because someone disagrees with your view on an internet forum, and go and do something outside.
  • I had one of these the other day, I received what I thought I would after seeing it on a stand alone poster near the till. In fact if I had received a slice of cheesecake I would have been disappointed.
It was alright especially for the price (£1.49 I think).
