Holiday Cancellation

Hi,
Just after some advice.
I booked a last minute holiday yesterday afternoon to go away for a week and payed in full. About 4 hours later, my wife received the sad news that her brother had passed away suddenly.
We are unsure about to proceed as we are due to fly tomorrow 01.08.14 and understandably, my wife is to upset to do anything.
I have taken out travel insurance which is due to run from the 1st til 8th August to cover our holiday but I am just looking for some help in how best to proceed.

Sorry for your loss. Wrong forum to post but you should contact your travel insurance. If your BIL had a pre-existing condition they may not cover this unless it was declared but I don't believe there is anyone else that can reimburse you0
