unlocking Moto g and 3 network

I understand unlocking a Tesco Moto G is relatively easy using one of the ebay sellers. With this service is it unlocked to the '3' network as well?

Yeah really easy, get a code from reputable seller (£2 or less) making sure you give them your phones IMEI number exactly , insert non Tesco sim so phone gives the option to enter unlock code, enter code to unlock and bingo, your phone will be working and ready to play online bingo using Three's network, or any other UK network.

Unlocked is unlocked: it should then work on all UK networks.
Moto G is 3G, so it will run on 3.No free lunch, and no free laptop
