You need an RF modulator. A quick eBay search like this one shows what you need http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=scart+ot+rf&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I am assuming the Virgin Box has a SCART or phono outputs. Plug the Virgin SCART output into the modulator. Plug the co-ax into the modulator aerial style socket. The kitchen end stays the same, but you need to choose the RF channel the kitchen TV sees, in analogue mode.

    Should work.

If you have a VCR, you can try using the built-in RF modulator.
They don't always convert the SCART input to RF (aka UHF).
Note that sometimes the SCART has to be configured to output RGB or S-Video, or composite video, and it doesn't work because it's in the wrong mode.

OP I posted a similar unit in post 10 which you seen to have ignored.

When you say the TV only has an aerial connection, do you mean thats the only cable that goes to it, or the only input it has on it ?

i cant imagine a tv thats only a few years old to not have any other input.

if it does have other inputs available, then you could send use a wireless video sender Would require no cabling between the virgin box and the tv, just the device at each end, only thing it would need is power.

its also possible to send video signals down a network cable, so in theory you could also do that, and send the network through the powerlines, althou thats probably more complicated than it needs to be, but against wont need any additional cabling being run
