Hi all,
Ive been with Plusnet for 3 years. Im paying about £40pm for line rental and internet access.
Im looking to save money (obviously!). Ive just read Martin's article in his newsletter about "Phone line AND b'band equiv £11.31/mth with Plusnet".
What would be the best way to reduce my Plusnet bill? See if I can haggle them? Threaten to move elsewhere?
Thanks

Assuming that you are out of any minimum contract time restrictions ,phone their Customer Options team on 0330 123 9197 - I did recently when my broadband discounted deal was due to finish -got a 24 month discounted deal for unlimited broadband(ADSL2+ NOT fibre) and paid ALR for the year upfront(inc W/End and Evening calls) -averages out at £18 per month, even tho' I'm on a Market 1 exchange.:T0 -
You don't have to 'threaten them'. If out of minimum term, ask for your MAC, they will put you through to retentions and then negotiate the deal you want.No free lunch, and no free laptop
