If they operate the same as the DVLA you will need to let the DVLNI know if there's been a change of address. You need to update them separately for the driver licence and the vehicle registration document as there's no read-across.
Failure to notify the DVLA (in GB) brings with it a fine! Check out what the situation is in NI for peace of mind. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hi everyone- I just want to say that you all give brilliant advice! I received a PCN by PEA in June in Belfast and I ignored it. Now I have been sent a solicitors letter from CSB in London. I done a bit of research into and now realise that they have no jurisdiction here in NI. Also there is no photo evidence of my car parked which is also a breach of the BPA code Appendix B7.1. I was worried as the solicitors letter was threatening my credit rating etc (trying to build a house so that wouldn't go down well!)
So thanks guys for the advice, I'll just keep ignoring these 'letters'!!!!0 -
Hi all,
I am similiar position - parked on ukpc disabled bay on boucher road when had emergency with disabled passenger but not a blue badge holder. I also asked if they knew who driver was? And stated there was no warning signs etc
I replied and appealed on their website but they quickly replied stating i need to have blue badge or fee will apply.
Going to ignore it for now but still a bit anxious.
Please update me if this is still correct .
Thanks in advace0 -

Hi all, I parked outside a white line of a parking bay at Boucher Road (I had my reasons!) and received a PCN. I ignored it, but eventually a letter arrived, addressed to the registered keeper (hubby). We ignored that and then got the next letter wherein the charge had increased from £60 to £100.
I was happy to keep ignoring UKPC, but hubby was concerned that if things proceeded as far as the small claims court and a judgement found against him, it may affect his business reputation etc.
So, me being nice, I wrote to the bu##ers and explained that it was me who parked the vehicle and not my husband and that I was appealing the charge and so on. About a week later, I found some extremely useful info on the MSE website and forum and I am mow kicking myself!!!
Of course, my appeal was rejected, quelle surprise, and they've been ever so kind in reducing the charge back down to £60.
I am thinking of ignoring them from now on, and in the meantime, have submitted an FOI request to the DofJ for up to date figures on small claims involving UKPC which will help me weigh up the risks in ignoring UKPC.
But as I've admitted to being the driver, I'm wondering if this increases the likelihood of them taking it all the way.
I'm also sending an FOI to Belfast City Council (the land owner) to get a few basic answers on the set up between them and UKPC. If I get anything useful back from both requests, I'll be sure to post it here.
Grateful for any wise comments. 0 -

Did you limit your FOI request to just UKPC? I was going to send a new FOI for all PPCs who operate in NI, but if you've already done so, I won't need to bother. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
