Can you sell your phone whilst still on contract?

EE/T-Mobile/Orange now clearly state in their terms and conditions that the phone still belongs to them in the first 6 months of any contract sold with a handset and must be used with the supplied sim during that time, otherwise you may find the IMEI blacklisted or you may be charged the unsubsidised cost of the phone.

I asked TalkMobile when I started a new contract if I could sell the phone and they said yes........... so neenerrenerrr

I get my phones from the dealers; they supply them, not the network.
