    If you only was insurance to take it home then get 1 day insurance, about £28ish. But 1 week for £41 sounds dirt cheap

    But the OP would be the owner of the car and the only DOC that I know that covers you driving other cars owned by you is the top end HNW policies.

    Even then, unless the OP intends to SORN the vehicle they still need insurance on the vehicle anyway.
