This is my last post today...honest!
Who knows about your debt? Parents/friends/family Etc ?
Only my wife and I know that we are in debt and sometimes I feel a fraud not telling my parents etc (I'm 33!)

Good question.
My family suspect.
My missus knows kinda, but only part of it. She knows about a loan but not both. My best friend knows about my cards but not my loans. Most people just think I am flash then skint. I prefer it that way.Payday loan free!!!

My family know, and anybody who I care to share with. I'm too old now and too long in the tooth now to care about whether people judge me, and if they do then quite frankly then door is over there

Incidentally, although my Mum is aware of my credit cards, she periodically says "but I thought they were only £3k, what HAPPENED??"

Its a very personal thing, it can be nice to tell someone you trust as well as your partner as it can be someone else who can offer a hug/advice/support, but at the same time it depends on what you want! Im ridiculously open about money and have no qualms about discussing my finances and decisions with those I love and trust, but thats just me!

Only my boyfriend knows about my debts and he is supportive enough for me not to need to tell anyone else. I think it would just make it more complicated if I felt I have to update numerous people on how my debt recovery is going.DFD - 12/2016 with 6.7% paid as of 07/14

My partner knows - but he's been pretty understanding. He tries to pay for things and help me out but I don't let him.
My mother knows too, and helps out a bit (she's able to financially). Apart from that some people on the internet, and that's it.
I have been lucky though, in that I had my LBM before I got into any arrears or difficulties.0
