Even better, go through Quidco for that little bit extra - every little helps!
I have only found the 4GB unbranded ones slightly cheaper, but these USB2 certified Sandisk ones really rock and the USB connector retracts to make it even smaller :T0 -
back to the op mine came today, looks ok.If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0

a 4gb is available from amazon for 17,99 which is roughly 4.50 per 1gb
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000F2YHSY/203-6058979-1226319
This product is fantastic. Very reliable and you can run applicaions (like Open Office / Firefox / Skype) straight off the stick. Really useful with friend's computers or internet cafe!0 -
you can buy a sandisk 4gb usb for £17.99 from amazon inc free delivery which is £4.50 per gb !!hannahkrystyna wrote: »Play.com have a MAXELL 1GB Flash drive with a free 64MB drive, for £4.99 inc delivery!

I've just bought three of them for myself and family as they were too cheap to resist.
£4.99 for the 1GB alone inc delivery is fab, but the 'extra' 64MB one is a bonus. I have a friend who is just getting the hang of computers and it will be more than enough for him, so I am dead chuffed!
PS: This is the first time I have tried to share details of bargain on here so please be gentle with me!0 -

I recommend this website - they have a super saver weekly offer , but you have to get in quick. They are currently out of stock but always replenish and have the same if not improved offers. I have bought i few computer type items from them - dvd drives etc

They send out a weekly email of their best offers - well worth a look at

The computer shop I use is a place called CCL (based in Bradford) and they have a USB 2.0 1GB memory stick for £7.48 which inc VAT and it is free postage.
This is cheaper than the Amazon one in the OP and CCL gear tends to be quite robust, even though it is not branded. Worth checking out if you need a memory stick.
One other point, as with all memory on computers, it is always worth buying bigger if you can afford it. Even though you may not need (or envision needing) it at the moment, there may alwaysbe a time in the future when you do and the cost of additional GB's on these sticks tends to be cheaper than buying two sticks.

I have the 4gb 17.99 memory stick from play.com - it's fast, it's small, it's better value than the other memory sticks (as long as you want that much space)
I use to store music on that i listen to at work - far cheaper than buying an Mp3 player of that size. I just plug it into my laptop and Winamp plays straight from it0
