Nothing like the gp calling you, not saying what's wrong and then having to wait a week eh... :A

I went to Aldi this morning. Staff are lovely. Customers can be quite rude though. I can't let everyone who only has a small basket of goods go in front of me or I'd be there all day.
Anyhow, spent £86.28 on groceries/cleaning stuff. Out of interest I went on to my supermarket and put in what I'd bought. The next cheapest shop was asda at £108.82. So I saved £22.54. Astounding really. No wonder the big 4 are losing out.

    Afternoon all :)

DG- I hope you have been to a clinic and had your eyes sorted out
Dumpling- don't stress yourself out, if it was urgent they would have rung rather than trust the post I expect!
Hilly- keep fighting the good fight :T

We have a family wedding in two days and the dress I was going to wear is still a bit tight
I went to Brent Cross shopping centre and saw one quite nice dress but wasn't sure, so walked around for FIVE HOURS before going back and buying the first one....

Just got in from hairdresser who has done a lovely job as usual but £47 for a shampoo/cut and dry - not very MSE!!

No idea what will be for dinner, DS1 has come home from a night of clubbing and wolfed down all last nights left overs. I don't mind really as he is as skinny as a rake.

Love and hugs to all, I hope everyone is having a good day x

    Afternoon all ...

dumpling - Try not to worry yourself too much .... Although I know it is easier said than done ... ((hugs))

Hilstep - That is just wonderful :T

Nothing much has been happening here today, DH did the cleaning before he came to bed last night so there was nothing for me to do cleaning wise today so I spent the morning in the kitchen making 2 loaves and a Victoria sponge, ds helped make spag bol and a chilli for the freezer.

Our darling cat decided to do a Number two in DS's bedroom today god knows why! she has never done that before and I hope she doesn't do it again, DS was disgusted and told her & me that under NO circumstances is she to enter his room again ....Not sure the cat took any notice though :rotfl:

Tomorrow DH is off and we are off fishing! so I am going to make a packed lunch tonight ready to take with us, I cannot stand fishing but I thought it would make a change so I'm going to take my book and my crochet, whilst there I'll take a walk with DS as there is wild plum trees and apple trees so will fill a few bags to bring home.

Hope you all have a lovely evening. x

    Hi again
Went to see the local GP. He thinks it is seborrhoeic dermatitis. Usually affecting greasy skin, and dandruff, but mine is very dry skin and hair but no dandruff. Have a skin shampoo and to use some of the creams I already had. Go back if not improved in 3-4 days. Might be sooner if no sign of improving. Still itching. Thanks for the good wishes. As I said not live threatening, but blumming annoying.

Did not feel like doing much apart from chilling, reading and crocheting. Better get my bum in gear tomorrow, else won't see anything while down here.

    Take care everyone. DG

DG so glad you got a diagnosis.

Had a lovely afternoon with my friend. We relived old memories, the sad ones and the funny ones. I remember the one time we both took our babies to the clinic to be weighed. My baby was born in the March, hers in the May. Off we toddled pushing our two prams when she hit a bump in the road and the wheel fell off her pram..... So funny, I'd got two babies in my pram whilst she limped up the road with a very broken and unstable pram. I dunno who came off worse, me pushing two babies in a coachbuilt pram up a hill, or her with a wonky pram that she had to hold up.

    Have a good evening all.
