    Just been to my local Sada to check out the Pantene, sure enough, they were RTC £1.

    Now, there were only about 6 on the shelf, so, what would happen if i was to order 10 for tomorrow and they had none, I know they will sub them with something else which i aint bothered about, but they will see that the price on my paperwork is £3.69 , so when it says on the top of the delivery note which items are subbed. will it state £3.69 v £3.69 for the subbed item IFKWIM.
    I understand that they must go through a till (or similar) for them to alter the price from £3,69 to £1 and show up on delivery note but if they dont have any, then are they going to think i am paying £3.69 each for them?

    I had this happen once before with the candles, they didnt have any and i got subbed, but i also got charged the full price.
    It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

    Afternoon everyone :D

    Before I read back a story about yesterday

    I took OH to a different store. 1stly I wanted to do the triple sanex but I could not find anything remotely resembling the invisible deo - seemed to only stock 2 doe neither of which had the right barcode.

    Then I had a look at Betty Crocker and all I could find was an empty space on the shelf with a clearance 10p SEL - I feel aggrieved now about the 2 I bought only days before. Ok I they matched !!!!!! 20p price but I still feel diddled :(

    They had the rose wine but by that time my nerve had left end me so I gave up and left with nothing.

    As it is by the time I got home Quidco had added both the chicken inspirations and the fish chargrills on their clicksnap lists. Both items that I would have got in Asda so its a god thing I gave up the mission.

    Has anyone else had an e-mail like this? No more M & S
    vouchers from Green Redeem.

    We are writing to you with some important information about M&S rewards.
    From 30 September, M&S will no longer be in partnership with Greenredeem, so M&S rewards will no longer be available in the Greenredeem programme.
    mns_logo.jpg

    From 31 July, we're reducing the number of M&S rewards that each member can order to one of each reward, per month. This means that you can still save up to £10 at M&S by ordering one reward for Food, Drink & Flowers and one reward for Clothing, Home & Beauty.

    We’re really keen to ensure that you can use your points and are committed to ensuring that our members have access to an all year round donations programme, helping local schools and community partners. In the early Autumn we’ll be able to make an announcement about a way in which your points can help.
    We're also introducing some interesting and exciting new rewards to the programme, to replace M&S rewards...look out for them, coming soon!

    No it doesn't - it means that we can now only have fewer rewards per month and therefore we are worse off. Don't try to dress it up any other way:(.

    Oh, hi folks!:rotfl::)

    Things I will miss about Green Redeem/M&S when it's gone.

    1. Finding a chicken worth almost £9.
    2. Parmentier potatoes.
    3. Pretending I could afford to shop at M&S

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    So, having started to 'dress things up' for me, I then don't believe them when they claim "We're really keen to ensure that you can use all your points". That email would therefore not have gone down very well at all with me if I'd have received it.

    Having set me onto that track, then they compound the matter by adding "We're also introducing some interesting and exciting new rewards", which I now distrust - if only they'd have been more honest and not tried to pass it off as still saving us something which, however true, is not as much as what it appears we used to be able to get.

    Anyway, I didn't come back to this thread to post this:rotfl:.

    And what the heck is shortening. I googled it and it looked a bit like gooey lard :eek: Is there something else I could use in its place? Please and thank you :)

    I know PD has already answered this, but just to add that I'd use stork or the lidl equivalent instead of shortening, as it's just vegetable fat. But then I tend to just use whatever I've got in the fridge/cupboards, I don't like recipes that call for random ingredients I'll never use again, so I always swap things around!

    Just popping on to say thanks to whoever first mentioned the M coupon, I did two shops today and used two crisp coupons to get a large side of salmon and two bags of seabrooks for a fiver, and then used a petrol £5 off to get a shoulder of lamb for 56p! Apart from being paid to take away whoopsies in T, that has got to be one of my favourite bargains so far :T:T:T
