also used 2 vouchers in morries up the road but was a bit hard using one after the other, did manage it but only because that was all I had. I will be using one at a time and going to the car inbetween in future.
Good afternoon
Just back from my M meat run - it is surprising how little you get for £10! Fortunately they had a fair amount of RTC meat too which helped stretch out my shop ... and used M vouchers from Sun+ offers so not actually spent really money .
As I have done a few shops today, I stocked up on The Sun from a local little shop to avoid any M limits. Only bought one shop at a time but took my large bags for life so I could whizz round a few times before having to go to the car, plus cool boxes in the car - Elite organisation :A
I can confirm that the rtc meat flashed 3 for £10 still takes the discount off if bought in 3s.
Freezer now near full - again surprising how little space it takes up once you remove the packaging!

But they're in a 'no-win' - if they had been 'more honest', I would then have been more likely to have stopped shopping there.
Perhaps they ought never to have introduced the original scheme, with more rewards per month, in the first place:rotfl:.
But it is - it's always a thing, when a local library that serves the community is proposed for closure, people complain about losing their library. I always, rather sagely, think that the solution would have been if there had never been a library built in the first place - then no-one would have complained about losing one:rotfl::rotfl:. But I jest.
Anyway, just to let you know (as I go round things again like the usual broken record that I am:rotfl:), that there are times when if I do something wrong, for example if I upset someone, and I am then aware that I either have done so or that I may have done so, I then feel anxiety (and Asperger's are more prone to anxiety) or feel "guilty" about doing so, for example if something is wrong like that, or a bit wrong or 'dodgy'.
However, as regards using an APG in T and then in A (once only in each and there's a reason why I'd use it in T first;)), I sleep soundly in my bed about that as I know there's nothing wrong there at all. There are other things that some people do that are on shaky ground and that they don't seem to have problems with. I am not going to say any more than that. (My intention is not to question what anyone is - or may be - doing but merely that some people don't have problems with something that is more problematic and yet when something is problem-free they are reluctant to exploit it and cash in on it as much as possible (:money:). That's the art of money-saving in my view - exploiting "loopholes" is part of it. Though I wouldn't agree that this was a loophole - it's a welcome thing that I don't accept needs closing.)0 -

Now, there were only about 6 on the shelf, so, what would happen if i was to order 10 for tomorrow and they had none, I know they will sub them with something else which i aint bothered about, but they will see that the price on my paperwork is £3.69 , so when it says on the top of the delivery note which items are subbed. will it state £3.69 v £3.69 for the subbed item IFKWIM.
I understand that they must go through a till (or similar) for them to alter the price from £3,69 to £1 and show up on delivery note but if they dont have any, then are they going to think i am paying £3.69 each for them?
I had this happen once before with the candles, they didnt have any and i got subbed, but i also got charged the full price.
When I ordered Cadbury Twirls yesterday, ordered full price, £1 instore, but they were oos instore and all were replaced with Wispa. Subs still charged at £1 and APG matched online price v M.

Good afternoon
Hope everyone managed to get plenty of meat bargains. Despite me being all ready to go and get mine this morning, it didn't happenI will have to go tomorrow instead.
DS1 is in Cyprus and has managed to lose his wallet :mad:so Ive spent a good chunk of the day sorting out getting emergency cash for him until he can get his cards replaced  Silly boy!0 -
Just managed to order 2 m&s food vouchers. So what they on about lol
never mind - I used a couple up today 2x 3 for £10 (so 6 x 'posh' main courses that will feed us 2 more than adequately for £15) & 2 x 4 tapas plus free wine:beer: - Girls night in on Friday will have a touch of luxury this week!
I gave a spare voucher to a couple of ladies on my 2nd trip ( It was hard to find somebody who looked 'deserving' in an M&S Simply Food Store!)
On my way out I realised that I hadn't I hadn't put my coupon in the slot, so passed this one on as well to a group of old dears. (Didn't try to explain the Elite method of using the vouchers though:rotfl:)

I was well chuffed though when he returned and admitted that although Benidorm with 'the lads' was fun he most enjoyed his trip on his own, by train, to pick up replacement Traveller's Cheques.0 -

Best bargain if the day - I went into Superdrug armed with code list of the loreal colour riche lipsticks that are supposed to be 99p - sadly not found
I did find on the reduced stand vitamins for 30p and loreal sublime mouse 535 luscious hot chocolate for £2.40. I used my Superdrug beauty card - although it does not give points under £1. The hair colour went through for 48p :T and I got a till spit for 20% off any hair colour valid until November :T. - not sure if the price reduction or the till spit were related to the card but worth a try anyway.
(this hair colour is still £6.99 in Boots)
Always worth a quick trip into any Superdrug to check the reduced section“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Afternoon
It's a bit quieter than usual today, everyone off using APGs in T and getting meat in M?
I've briefed dh on using the meat coupon later - I've not used him in couponing before but if they're rigid about the one per person thing then at least we can 2 lots
Was going to get the 3 for 10 salmon but I think the sides of salmon are a bit cheaper at £9.99/kg - I have a thing for it atm but only allowed to eat it twice a weekFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18
Weight loss 2017 28lbs
Weight gain 2018 8lbs :rotfl:0
