Afternoon elite! I had a question re: the Halifax switch. I have one Halifax account. Could I open a new non-Halifax account with nothing in it and switch to get the £100? Or does it have to have funds, DD etc? Thank you.

You can have £0 in the non-Halifax account with no DDs/SOs. You'll still get the £100 switch incentive. Although I always put a few quid in as it makes your switch look more genuine.

I've never had a wys coupon accepted against gift cards in S.

Not tried for a while though

Thank you. Had a feeling that might be the case. S are annoyingly good at keeping to the letter of their vouchers. I had a large out of date one once which I lost :( though I have got them through the SADA tills on two occasions. (I don't make a habit of it, by the way!)

S vouchers do tend to stack though, which is good. Perhaps I'll just use them in my local SADA which is taking competitors' vouchers at present. It won't help with the petrol offers but I tend to use Mr T at the moment because of the fuel save.

I'm back from A and 2 M shops. My A didn't have Daz rtc, nor any choccies :( So i bought £2 crunchy nut cornflakes and some nappies using an APG so only 50p spent. Then went to M's. A question please? Does the 3 for £10/multibuy kick in if the items are reduced does anyone know?

I then got trouted at the SS til whilst she scrutinised my shopping and checked to see if I'd spent enough on fish/meat (which i had).
