Oh Morribobs - do you really want to attract customers??

Quite prepared to do the in. out, in out (didn't shake it all about:rotfl:) to use f&v coupons, but first 'in' today my neighbour (trainee glitcher) bought other things, but they refused her wys voucher as she was using f&v one:mad:
    All was not lost though!
I did one last trip & used self service tills - not one item would go in my bag - so needed assistance with everyone:eek: (this is when I decided it was my last shop as couldn't stand the hassle!) The SA was really nice, so I offered her my spare voucher - she said she couldn't use it, but would give it to another customer - fine says I. She then said 'but why don't you go back and get something like washing powder that will last and I will put it through for you' Oh, says I, can you do that? She says, I'm not supposed to, but it is the last day for the coupons;)

Needless to say, quick run, (did buy ariel as couldn't think of anything else!) back to ss. Oh b@gger - supervisor talking to her:eek:, but she quickly left and I whizzed through with said ariel :rotfl::rotfl:

    Such a lovely post :A

Re the M's vouchers, I've been buying for preserving as well as eating.

I've just made some limoncello - it's gonna be hard not drinking it yet!

Lemons and limes have been sliced and frozen- they'll go into various drinks, won't need to put ice in either!

Today's next task is strawberry jam

Big oranges for juicing, some will be sliced and frozen for drinking in squash or even water

Bags of pod peas have been podded and frozen, same with broad beans

Lots of other Elitees have done various other things but that might give you some food for thought :)

just made 11 pots of strawberry jam to :j now going to experiment with bottling soft fruits for winter use, do peaches, pears and apples but never done berries so fingers crossed.

    The loose leeks in Ms

    Stated £1.75 Kg

Worked out mine - 3 large leeks, would be at least £1.50 after weighing them (880gs)

Went through till at 60p :eek::eek::eek:

Had to scuttle off & grab some flat peaches & spring onions to make up the £5

Then SA gave us back the MOC

NO no no no no - I insisted she kept it :)

I would have insisted on telling her to hold on whilst I went back to the F&V and found the smallest grape/carrot tip/Mushroom I could find ;)
