    All vouchers at T or A (probably other stores too) go through the cash office then off to Vallassis(?) or some other clearing system to redeem/reclaim the voucher from the manufacturers or marketing budgets etc. It is therefore highly possible that duplicates across stores in the same company would be spotted (each is unique) and should they investigate they have you on camera.

    Having seen a few other posts on this topic I am now not clear that using in A and T is within the rules (as in either case the "original" single print of the voucher should be surrendered..

    <Bit in bold>

    Normally I'd agree with you, but in this case Tesco cannot claim any money back from anyone. An apg is only "legal tender" in Asda, and the rules pertaining to copying, reuse etc are only applicable for use in Asda.
    As far as Tesco is concerned you might as well be paying with Monopoly money because the vouchers are worthless to them (and therefore it's not relevant whether you've used them before). It's a marketing ploy to subvert Asda shoppers over to Tesco and there will be a budget for the losses occurring during this period.
    Personally I can only see this backfiring as soon as the asda shoppers see the prices in T!:rotfl:

    It's only a game

    A won't care if you use an apg in T unless you foolishly spend way more than the value of the apg in cash whilst in there. Cash you could have spent in A

    For everyone that walks in, pays for something with an apg and walks out it will hurt Ts profits (not much but its a definite loss). I don't think As will mind that :cool:

    Can you imagine if A started accepting CC vouchers in response!?!

    There seems to be a promo on Nectar too at the moment for up to x4 value against certain partners

    I have to admit I have collected Nectar for years and have never redeemed any :o. Over £300 exposure (Nectar credit card sign up bonus etc). I really should look into spending them! What do people think is the best way to use Nectar?

    Many thanks

    Thanks for the reminder, I have never redeemed any of mine either. I keep meaning to have a look and see what's what. X4 is a tempter I'll take a peek and see if anything is of interest to me :cool:
    There's no place like home :)

    Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

    Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
