Before you know it, you'll be tapping birch trees to make birch-sap wine:)

Thanks Jelly, I am now telling myself that I must not buy, I must not buy, I must not buy…

    :o:o:o:o

I am doing a Morribobs run at 3.30 and then taking the dog for a 'walk' … for brambles, and to check on the plum, apple and pear trees that are growing down the lane.

There used to be gooseberry bushes in the woods, but I cannot find them!

I need to buy a freezer, but I am repeating the chant.. 'I must not buy, I must not buy'

Just back from morries and managed to use 2 vouchers. Sooooo busy there. So thought I would try to do 2 transactions. After I paid for 1st shop, I said this other shop is mine too. She said have u got another voucher. I said yes. So had to go to another checkout. Lucky the one immediately next was free :D
Had 2 morries gift vouchers from a sun+ offer to use too. So got just over £15 shopping for each transaction and paid pennies

    Awkward !!!!!!s are n t they.

    Good Afternoon all :D

Just been for a ride on my bike. Only the second time I've rode a bike for at least 30 years. It didn't half get me sweating lol. Don't want to ride on roads but luckily I can get on some paths nearby.

I went to the bootsale today to look for a cycling helmet. On my second time round I came across a child's one. I thought better than nothing and it would tide me over till I got an adults one. Was bright pink with brats on it lol but it fitted. £2.

Walked a bit further round and came across a brand new black one. Priced at £30 and the person bought it for £15 and I got it for £5 an absolute bargain.

    Happy Susie :D

Managed 4 on the trot at one checkout - lovely neighbour did 3 directly after me and one voucher re-homed to a couple who appeared to be debating whether they could afford the meat they wanted.

Thank goodness Mr Pop brings anything home that his customers offer him, usually it is an odd bar of soap or 'late husband's' tools', but last month it was a whirlpool chest freezer!!:T:T:rotfl::rotfl:
