    I believe I may well have posted this in your previous thread, but Daytona Ladystar GTX boots get a very good press from shorter female riders I know.

    Oooh, thank you! I'll take a look. My bank balance is going to hate me soon. I've got some great leathers at the moment which are incredibly bulky and thick - nightmare for summer riding. Is there anything else out there that's a bit more light weight? I don't mind if it's thick because in all honesty I'd rather have the protection on these UK roads but it feels VERY heavy, making me feel clumsy and awkward.
    Does the walker choose the path or the path the walker?

    I use textile jacket and trousers they can have removable thermals for summer and you can get them waterproof (well almost)


    just note that leathers are good but most are not waterproof, that's why I chose textile as in the uk its mostly raining
