Samsung Galaxy S4 charging problem
Options
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 from smartfonestore.com for my son, it has arrived this morning, but it doesn't seem to be charging properly.
I've tried charging for 1 hour, and there is a constant 'warning' sign flashing on the phone as in the pic below.
Is there a way I can remedy this or do I need to return the phone as faulty?
I just tried turning it on, and it has come on, but an info box comes on the screen saying "Charging paused. Battery temperature too high."
Surely this cannot be right?

used ???
If genuine charger and battery then return as faulty .0 -
Does the phone feel hot to the touch? My S4 regularly heats up while charging but never complains about the temp.
If the phone doesn't feel hot then it is probably the thermo playing up and would require a replacement handset0 -
Thanks. Yes it's used. It does feel hot-ish on the back around the middle after a short time of charging.
When I turn it on (plugged in), it comes up with the 'too hot' message, and if I unplug the charger it turns straight off, so it's not charging at all.
I have requested a return/replacement from the company.

They do get warm when charging, obviously due to the electricity surging into the battery. But it shouldn't do that after only a few minutes. Definately sounds like a faulty phone0
