Best mobile phone insurance?

Hello all
Ive seen many people able to get help and advice on this website so i am hoping the same.
Anyway about 9-10 months ago i took out a contract with 3. (I know a lot of people have bad things to say about them, but ive never had any issues). Only reason was because my local 3 store was doing a deal, 22 pound contract iphone 4s, 500 mins, unlimited texts unlimited data.
I have since wanted to upgrade to the 5S to take advantage of the free 4G 3 is offering, but obviously only 10 months into a 24 month contract i cant upgrade. I managed to buy a 5s from giffgaff, comes sim free and unlocked and can pay per month for the phone.
I want to get it insured, but as the phone is not from 3, im not sure if they will insure it.
Long story short anyone know any good priced, reputable mobile phone insurance companies?
I want to protect the iphone 5s from theft, loss, accidental damage etc.
Anyone recommend anything?
thanks in advance
edit: i have read some horror stories about the "mainstream" budget ones such as insure2go and protect your bubble. Are they really that bad?

If you have no track record of losing or breaking phones I wouldn't bother. Just self insure and tuck away £10 a month into a savings accounts just in case.0

Add it to your home contents insurance, invariably better than a standalone policy. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
