You will all be surprised to know, but still no contact from teletext!! i have sent details onto trading standards as to me, its fraudulent. if anyone has any other suggestions of who to contact, then im all ears. everyone needs to know about teletexts dodgy and fraudulent sales tactics

As a way of trying to get extra pressure i have also now contacted BBC watchdog, if anyone out there as had the same problem, please send them your story and details. Its quick and easy, if enough of us complain, then it will hopefully get recognised on their programme and assert more pressure on these fraudsters.

As im anew poster on the forums, it wont let me post a link to the watchdoog website. but if you search on your browser for it, it comes up.

Not really no, unless like an apple pie, larger meal or a leather care kit. They exist, else there is no similarity whatsoever.

Latest Update - Teletext have finally emailed back claiming i will be called "shortly".........I'm not holding my breath!!

Please help keep this thread near the Top. Every one booking a holiday with this company need to know the scam they are running!

I have been emailing them on a daily basis to support@teletext.co.uk and have started to get replies and have been promised a call back "shortly". That was received over an hour ago mind. Keep pushing. Ill let you all know any response I get!

Hi everyone,

I have had a call from citizens advice on behalf of trading standards, and they are going to investigate on my behalf. Unfortunately they cant do a carte blanche investigation without other people contacting them. Their website can be found by searching for citizens advice consumer help line!!
It is quick and easy to complete, and they will pass on all relevant information to trading standards.

On another note, 4 hours have passed from when i was promised a call "shortly" and still no peep!!!

Teletext did call me but only to say I would get an answer by 5, but surprise surprise......Nothing!!
I have now instructed trading standards to escalate the issue.

When I hear more, I'll let you guys know!
