Tesco Clubcard Plus problems

Yes, I still have one of these. I have used it from time to time just like an ordinary clubcard and have experienced the same problem. Most staff can get it right but some just aren't paying attention when they put it through or they don't see the cards often enough to know what to do with them.

If you use a self service till and you can control it yourself there as a question appears on the screen asking if you want to pay with it.

I have one of these and generally find it good in the tesco near me. I usually say that it's for the points only, and if I forget the cashier will generally ask. Sounds like a training issue in your local stores - perhaps an email to the manager asking for staff to be made more aware - although it could be that the manager needs better training;)

I don't have one, but I have a Tesco credit card which I only ever use for points, I just tell them I'm using it for points, they cancel the transaction (as I have to enter the Tesco CC into the chip & pin thing) then I use a normal card. I expect it's the same thing with the CC+.

Personally I'd argue the toss every single time, but I'm stubborn
