    I've heard worse strategies.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

My situation is improved by not being in debt for basic shelter in the biggest housing market Ponzi scheme of all time.

My situation is improved by not having to pay anybody anything for basic shelter ever again (well, not after the next few weeks, anyway), and by knowing that nobody is going to give me notice to move, or inspect my house every 4 months, or tell me I can't hang pictures etc.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    That's lovely.

Clearly you're embarrassed about your own situation and don't want to talk about it.

Good luck - keep in touch.

As long as the area stays nice, and the neighbours are not a problem, and the government doesn`t decide to tax you because they can, super, well done. If I don`t like the colour of my wall paper I can move in a day if I want to, no need to wait for someone to buy it off me.

It means you do not understand anything about debt and how it effects people.

As simply as that is it what if your landlord decides he wants to sell I know the country is awash with nice very cheap rental properties.
